Penticton Indian Chief - Jonathan Kruger

On behalf of the Penticton Indian Band, and the Okanagan Nation, it is an honour to welcome visitors and those relocating to the Okanagan Territory. Sn’pink tn, in the Okanagan Language means “A place to stay forever”. When you experience our land and our beautiful lakes, you will understand why it is Sn’pink tn.

Our culture and our traditional teachings have always relied on strong relationships with the land, the environment and the people. We continue to carry on this tradition as it strengthens sustainability and the local economy, and creates positive partnerships.

As we move forward, we are building a respectful relationship with the City of Penticton, which is evident in our agreements and protocols—together we are developing a stronger region for our future generations.

Respectfully,
Chief Jonathan Kruger, Penticton Indian Band
