BC’s Trade and Investment Representatives Visit Penticton, May 25

Penticton Economic Development Services wishes to announce that BC’s Trade Investment program officers will be in Penticton on May 25, 2011. British Columbia’s trade and investment representatives build the province’s market presence and help companies identify and secure business opportunities.

The International Relations and Business Development Branch provides market assistance to BC export ready companies. “These individuals are the people on the ground in foreign markets and they are our local businesses first contact when entering new markets globally” said David Arsenault EDO. “This is a unique opportunity for our local business community to make contacts directly with Trade and Investment Representatives in one-on-one meetings to discuss new markets for Penticton products,” he added.

BC Trade and Investment Representatives attending this event include:

China (East, South and North)                         India
USA (Pacific Coast)                                            Europe

The overall day will see these representatives touring our local manufacturing sector and includes an opportunity for local businesses to book one-on-one appointments.

The local agenda includes:
9:00 – 12:00 Penticton Business Site Visits
12:00 – 1:00 EDS business lunch
1:00 – 3:00 Scheduled one-on-one meetings (limited spots available)
