HST Transitional Rules Free Information Seminars

On July 23, 2009, the Government of British Columbia (BC) announced its plans to

implement the HST in British Columbia beginning July 1, 2010. To assist businesses with

the HST Transitional rules governing the determination of which tax – the existing

provincial retail sales tax or the provincial part of the HST – will apply to transactions that

straddle the implementation date, the Canada Revenue Agency is offering free 2 hour

information seminars.

February 16, 2010 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, or 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

February 17, 2010 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, or 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
